THIN SIZER

• • Thin Sizer is a modified version of starch. It is used in place of Thin Boiling starch and offers the same benefits that thin boiling starch offers except that it has better film forming properties and adheres to the range of binders and softeners better than the conventional thin boiling starch.
  • The total quantity of starch to be added is reduced significantly which also adds the further benefit of saving the cost. Reduces the shedding and fiber-fly while weaving. It is a low viscosity, high concentration product.
  • The viscosity does not change that easily due to application of temperature unlike native starch.
  • Also improves the quality of the encapsulation formed by the binder by making it stronger which thereby makes the sized yarn more flexible and efficient.
  • Imparts non-foaming characteristics due to which the wastage of the size mix is reduced greatly and makes it purer.
