• • A resin based binder which helps in penetration. It basically adheres to the warp yarns throughout the weaving process and also increases the yarn strength by binding the fibres in the yarn together thus making the yarn strong enough to withstand the weaving stresses and strains.
  • It forms a thin, uniform film around the surface of the yarn thereby reducing its frictional resistance which inturn reduces the abrasion between neighbouring warp threads.
  • Since it helps in penetration as well as coating, the yarn is strengthened internally(due to penetration) and the hairyness is reduced(due to the uniform coating) which also reduces the droppings, thereby increasing the efficiency of the yarn in looms
