• Size plus is a modified kind of the conventional starch which is designed to distribute stress more efficiently across the surface of the entire yarn.
• Provides better penetration as it works with the size mix to bind the yarn with it.
• It brings about better cohesion and increases the yarn’s resistance towards abrasion among the neighbouring yarns.
• It increases the viscosity of the size-mix adequately so that it can form a thin, uniform coating.
• Ensuring Size plus is added in the right amounts will also help the size mix maintain an ideal viscosity which helps in coating as well as the size mix’s penetration into the yarn which makes the internal fibers bind together thereby increasing the internal strength of the sized yarn as well as reducing the external fibres that protrude out of the yarn causing hairiness.
