• The amount and uniformity of size-add on are extremely important in influencing the performance of warp during weaving.
• Size-add on is affected by the viscosity of the size-mix and combination of warp speed and the squeeze roll pressure.
• What is dependent on the chemical used is the viscosity of the size-mix and that is exactly what Master-X does.
• It helps in increasing the viscosity of the size-mix to deliver the size-add on which inturn enhances the performance of the warp during weaving.
• It suppresses the deleterious effect of yarn hairiness by encapsulation and hence has a serious influence on breakage of yarn during weaving.
• It is also used to enhance or suppress the interactions between the size film and the fiber based on its usage and quantity.
